Counselor and Clinical Supervisor with over 35 years experience, specializing in treatment of addictions and their effect on the family and recovery from the effects of trauma with a transpersonal and trans-cultural perspective. Licensed Marriage, Family and Child Counselor in California since 1984. Relationship therapy for couples, families and individuals.
Trauma Therapist for 31 years. Pioneer in the research and treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Co-Created and supervised a prison therapeutic community at State Dept. of Corrections, Vermont for incarcerated Vietnam Veterans.
Staff Counseling Psychologist at San Diego State University, Counseling and Psychological Services for five years. Academic and substance abuse counseling- Individual, couple, family, and group. Diverse population of students including veterans, disabled, and multicultural.
